Ashford Solutions Group was founded by Paul Reynolds in 2012, after several years already working in the plastering trade. It is a family business, based in Ashford, and Paul is the person who quotes the job and carries it out.

For this kind of work, people are not really choosing a company. They are deciding whether they trust someone to come into their house. That is what this page is for.

Why preparation comes first

Paul's approach is that the preparation behind a finished wall matters as much as the finish you can see. That means looking at the existing surface properly, repairing what is wrong rather than covering it up, and using materials that suit the property.

A wall can be skimmed quickly and look fine on the day. If the plaster underneath is loose, or an old textured ceiling has not been prepared, that finish does not last. The extra time is spent on the part of the job a photograph does not show.

He is a British Gypsum Certified Plasterer, so internal plastering is covered by the manufacturer's two-year workmanship guarantee, and a K Rend Approved Contractor for exterior render. The business is fully insured.
